First of all I'm not quite sure if graffiti is a type of art that is related to graphic design... Anyway, in general I like art that is shown in public spaces and affects our everyday life, and that's why I decided to mention here about this interesting graffiti.
I've noticed several campaigns in London that are related to the current economic crisis (to be honest, not only economic, ut this is how it all began).
The Crisis graffiti that has recently caught my eyes definitely has an impact on all passer-bys (most of them turn their heads towards the wall painted in white).
What I find interesting are it's contrasting colors, noticeable especially on the neglected background. The word Crisis painted in black and the red question mark ? surround the unpainted sentence which is in fact the wall itself.
Don't you think it's rather funny that this huge graffiti appeared in the street that leads to The City of London :)
The way the word crisis is written resembles the logo of the charity organisation called CRISIS.
You can find further information about them on their website or read directly about this campaign.
